Geoffrey de Maleville has granted and established by this his charter to Holyrood Abbey 2 oxgangs of land (in Liberton, MLO?) that belonged to 'Maluet – ver’' (Malbeth Bere) and of another land lying near that land, in perpetual alms, as he perambulated in the presence of William, abbot of Holyrood, and William, prior of Holyrood, and Robert brother of Richard bishop of St Andrews, and Roger, brother (i.e, a monk) of Newbattle, William chaplain of Liberton; William the grieve of the sheriff of [...]; Alexander ’humio’, sheriff Geoffrey.
