Document 3/411/6 (Pais. Reg., 203)

Description
Norrin of Monorgan and Forbflaith his spouse make known that they have fully and entirely received from the abbot and convent of Paisley 46 marks 8s. 10½d which they are taking in respect of the 140 marks which, with them and with John of the Wardrobe and Mary his spouse and Bernard of Airth and Helena his spouse, they agreed to, so that the dispute between them and Paisley Abbey over lands of Cochno, Edinbarnet, Faifley, Baccan, and Drumcreve (DNB) could be laid to rest. In respect of the 46 marks 8s. 10½d. they acknowledge that they have been well and fully paid; wherefore, they expressly renounce the reception of money not delivered, not paid, not counted, wishing and granting that the document drawn up concerning all the aforenamed money, inasmuch as it affects them, should be of no effect or value, etc.
