Description
William son of Hawok of Perth has given, granted and quitclaimed to Inchaffray Abbey, for a certain sum of money, which they gave him beforehand in his great need, all right that he has and which he or his heirs may try to claim in the future, in the land which held for a certain annual rent from Richard of Leicester, formerly (or late) burgess of Perth, and afterwards from the canons, in the North Street of Perth, holding free and quit, without any burden and without any claim or injury from himself or his heirs, performing to the our lord king service customarily owed from that land.
