Description
Roger Norris, burgess of Berwick, has given, granted and by this his present charter established to Coldstream Priory in pure and perpetual alms, that land in ‘Crosgate’ in the villa of Berwick, which he legally bought using his own profits, which lies between the land of Osbert Dute on one side and Margaret Bernham on the other, free and quit with all it pertinents as a free burgage of the lord king, rendering annually to the lord king, 6d. according to the customs of the burgh.
