Richard of Leicester has given and granted and by this his charter established, to Lindores Abbey, after his death, his cellar in Perth, which is under the house that was formerly John Norris’s, in free and perpetual alms, save the service to the lord king. In his lifetime, Richard will pay the monks 6d. from the same cellar on the feast of St John the Baptist, and he has placed the monks in full sasine of the cellar.
