Description
Herbert of Maxwell, son and heir of the late Sir Aymer of Maxwell, has resigned and quitclaimed all right and claim that he had in the lands of Langholm and ‘Brakanwra’ (DMF) with all its pertinents without any reservation to Sir John of Lindsey chamberlain of the lord king of Scotland, which he had from William of Conisbrough, son and heir of the late William of Conisbrough, knight, and which with charters and muniments he returned to Sir John.
