Description
Alan son of Walter, steward of the king of Scotland, has given, granted and made firm by this his charter to Paisley Priory his mill of Paisley (RNF) with all that goes with it (cum sua plenaria secta) in feuferme, rendering annually four chalders of oatmeal, and 4 1/2 chalders of malt. He has granted them also one messuage for housing their miller. Alan and his heirs will be quit of teinds of the mill, and Alan of Ness and his men will be quit of multure, and the render will be paid on the feast of St Peter ad vincula.
