Description
Walter son of Alan, steward of the king of Scotland, has granted, given, and made firm by this his charter to the canons and nuns of the Order of Sempringham of Dalmilling Priory on the River Ayr, the church of Dundonald (AYR) with the chapels of Crosbie and Riccarton and the church of Sanquhar (St Quivox, AYR) as much as belongs to a lay donation, holding and having, with all their pertinents, in pure and perpetual alms, free and quit from all secular service and exaction.
