Description
Alexander son of Walter, Steward of Scotland, has given, granted, and made firm by this his charter to St James and St Mirren of the monastery of Paisley and the monks there 2 chalders of flour each year to be taken from his ferme of Inchinnan, in return for the multure of le Rass which was in respect of the mill-soken of Paisley, and which they quitclaimed to him and his heirs in return for the said 2 chalders; and he and his heirs shall be quit of the multure of the said land of Rass for ever.
