Duncan of Swanston and Mariota his spouse, with the consent of their heirs, have given in perpetual alms to Soutra Hospital, 34 acres of arable land and two acres of meadow in the territory of Swanston (MLO), by their right bounds, stated herein, with all common easements, free and quit from all custom or secular exaction or demand and all intrinsec and extrinsec service, rendering annually 3d. or one pair of spurs at the fair of Haddington.
