Description
Roger of St Andrew(s), for the welfare of the souls of Saher de Quincy, his lord, earl of Winchester, and Robert, his son, has given, and by his charter established to Brackley Hospital, 40s. rent from his land of Collessie, that is, 20s. to light the church of the hospital, and 20s. for the infirmary, at two times, that is, at the feast of St James and at the Purification of BVM, free from all secular service and exaction, in pure, free and perpetual alms.
