Description
David de St Michael has given, granted and by this his present charter established to Lindores Abbey in free, pure and perpetual alms, the rent that he used to receive annually from that toft in Montrose (ANG) that King William gave to his father, William de St Michael, and which Henry Griser formerly held of William his father and afterwards of himself, having and possessing all right and lordship that he had in the aforesaid toft on the day he made this donation, free and quit in perpetuity, without any custom, service and secular exaction.
