Description
The abbot and Convent of Paisley have bound themselves to pay the Master, Canons and Nuns of the Order of Sempringham 40 marks yearly, at Whitsun, at Dryburgh Abbey. The penalty for default shall be £20 silver, payable as often as the term for payment of the pension is exceeded. The abbot and convent place themselves and all their property under the jurisdiction of the Bishop of Glasgow, or of the Chapter when the See is vacant.
