Description
Duncan, son of Michael son of Malothen, has given, granted, and made firm by this his present charter to St Andrews Priory, in pure and perpetual alms, for the soul of his late lord Malcolm (I), earl of Fife, all his land of Cairns (FIF), with the mill that he established on that land, and with all its liberties and easements. He wills that his other land which he has by gift of the said earl, namely, Ecclesmartin, Pitlour and Rumgally (FIF), should make forinsec service of the lord king for the land of Cairns.
