- King William has granted convention made at Edinburgh in his full court between Maurice, elder, of Menteith, and Maurice, younger, his brother, of earldom of Menteith, which Maurice, younger, had claimed as his right and heritage and which Maurice, elder, resigned into king's hand, and king delivered to Maurice, younger, as his right
