Description
John of Ramsey, lord of Gladney (formerly in Tarvit, now in Ceres, FIF), has given, granted, and purely and fully sold to Adam called ‘Purroc’, citizen (civi) of the city of St Andrews, a half perch of land with pertinents in Market Street (vico fori), which lies between the land of the said Adam on the east and the land which William son of Simon holds on the west, for a certain sum of money in his great and urgent need, for an annual render to the lord bishop of 2d.on the two terms customary in the city.
