Description
Robert, king of Scots, has granted, and by this his present charter established, in free, pure and perpetual alms, to the abbot and convent of Coupar Angus, the following donations: the land of the two Drimmies within the tenement of Glenballoch (ANG) which they hold from the gift of Adam of Glenballoch; along with all the commons of the same land which they hold from the gift of Eustace of Rattray and the confirmation of Adam of Glenballoch; and additionally, the land of Kincreich within the barony of Lour (ANG) with the mill and multure of the barony; and two acres, along with the advowson of the church of Meathie-Lour (ANG), which they hold from the gift of Alexander of Abernethy, the knight; and additionally, two acres of land along with advowson of the church of Fossoway (KNR) within the earldom of Strathearn which the hold from the gift of Gilbert of Hay, the knight, and the confirmation of Malise, earl of Strathearn; and also the land of Logie Pert near Montrose (ANG) which they hold from the gift of Walter of Lindsay and the confirmation of John of Kinross, the knight; and additionally, two marks annually from the land of Auchinleish, which they hold from the gift of John of Kinross along with his right in the land; and additionally, the lands of Cammock, Downie and Alrick (ANG) which they possess from the gift of John of Kinross; and additionally, the advowson of the church of Alvah in the diocese of Aberdeen (ABN), which they hold from the gift of Marjory, countess of Atholl, forsaken of the late John, earl of Athol, and the confirmation of David, his son, first-born and heir; and additionally, free transit with their animals through the lands of Alexander, Gilbert and John, the knights, and Eustace, Adam and Alan, the porters, and protection from the forfeiture of their men.
