Description
Thomas Randolph, earl of Moray, for the salvation of his soul and his ancestors and successors, has given, granted and by this his present charter established to Dunfermline Abbey, for the increase of two monks beyond the customary number of [those] accepted, [those] serving the monastery in perpetuity, and [those] celebrating for him and his ancestors and successors, all the lands of Kinneddar and Bandrum (in Saline, FIF), with the pertinents and dominion of the land of Drumcapie (in Saline, FIF), to be held and had in pure, free and perpetual alms, along with the liege men pertaining to the lands, and with all the easements and their just pertinents. He reserves the forinsec service pertaining to the lands, and promises warrandice.
