Description
In the aforementioned year and indiction, on 27 June, the witnesses written last above, and the Notary, being present at Clunie, the lord Gilbert of Glencarnie, knight, freely attaining the trust and good will of the king of England, annulled any alliances, contracts, agreements, or pacts ever entered into in his name with the king of the French against the king of England, and expressly renounced them; and having touched and kissed the most holy gospels, he performed fealty to the said king of England, and in respect of his fealty, he drew up his letters sealed with his pendant seal.
