Description
Adam son of Adam of Gordon, by the assent and good will of Amabella, his wife, and his heirs, has given, granted and by this his charter established to Kelso Abbey, in free, pure and perpetual alms, for the salvation of his soul and all of his ancestors and successors, all the land which is contained within specified bounds in Gordon (BWK), in free and perpetual alms. Additionally, he gave and granted to the monks pasture for thirty cows in his marsh, which is called ‘Weststrother' (in Gordon, BWK), and exit for the cows or bulls with Adam’s animals until the completion of one year. After the year has elapsed, the location of the exit from the said pasture will be moved. Adam promises warrandice.
