Description
William of Lamberton, bishop of St Andrews, states that in consideration of the great oppressions and numerous difficulties of the abbot and convent of Newbattle, he has conveyed to the monks all the fruits and offerings belonging to the vicarage of the church of Heriot (MLO) of his diocese, to be perpetually possessed for their sole use.
