Description
King [Edward I] addresses John of Warenne, earl of Surrey, his custodian of the land and kingdom of Scotland, and Hugh of Cressingham, his treasurer of Scotland, and states that he completely gave to the prioress and nuns of Coldstream those eleven pounds and four shillings which are being extracted from the prioress and nuns through the summons of the exchequer of the Berwick. And the king mandates that the prioress and nuns should be made to be quit from the eleven pounds and four shillings by John and Hugh.
