Description
James, steward of Scotland, states that because his ancestors founded the monastery of Paisley, and conveyed numerous donations and freedoms for their sustence, for the salvation of their souls, he gives, grants and by this his present charter establishes to the monks and the monastery, in free, pure and perpetual alms, various specified donations and freedoms.
