W[illiam] and R[obert], bishops of St Andrews and Glasgow, Duncan, earl of Fife, Alexander Comyn, earl of Buchan, constable [and justiciar] of Scotia, John Comyn and James Stewart of Scotland, Guardians of the realm of Scotland by common council, write to Alexander de Balliol, [chamberlain of Scotland], commanding him to pay Alexander, son of Patrick earl of Dunbar, 10 [marks] sterling from his fee from the end of St Martin past, following what he was accustomed to receive during the time of the late lord [king].
