Document 3/0/0 (Lenn. Cart., 81)

Description
Thomas of Craminnan states that Murdoch son of Corc, and his heirs and assignees, may have the free power to construct a mill in their land of Croy (in Killearn parish, STL), and to bring their grain in the land of Croy wherever they may wish to take it. On that account, he gives and grants to Murdoch, and his heirs and assignees, the free power to grind wherever they may wish, and not [to be] coerced to Thomas's mill of Aschend, although they may be near it, and that they may be able to grind their grain of Croy at Thomas's mill of Aschend, after Thomas grain, without any multure or any other demand by Thomas, and that they, for each chalder of whatever grain which they may wish to grind there, should release one firlot for the service of the mill.
