Description
John de Vaux, lord of Dirleton, has seen, inspected, and understood the charter of Sir John de Vaux, his grandfather, in the chapter of Glasgow in the year 1305, with the seal of his grandfather appended. He ratifies and irrevocably confirms the said charter, donation, grant and confirmation, binding himself and his heirs to the observance of everything in the charter by a corporal oath.
