Description
Indenture of 1304 setting forth an agreement between Coupar Angus Abbey and John the Barber, burgess of Montrose, whereby the abbot and convent, with the consent of the whole chapter, lease to John their land in the township of Montrose (ANG) which Thomas Ogglach held of them, for an annual payment of five shillings sterling.
