Description: Sir Gilbert Hay, lord of Errol, for the salvation of his soul, and for the soul of Sir Nicholas Hay, his father, and for the salvation of the souls of all his ancestors and successors, with the consent, assent and good will of Nicholas, his first-born son and heir, has given Coupar Angus Abbey the advowson or right of patronage of the church of Fossoway (PER), with the two acres of land nearer the church on the west side, and all other easements pertaining to the church, to be held and had in free, pure and perpetual alms. Gilbert promises warrandice.
