Description
Pope Nicholas IV writes to the archdeacon and treasurer of Aberdeen, commissioning and commanding them to grant a dispensation to Robert called Fleming, knight, and Affrica, daughter of the nobleman Reginald called ‘Lichen’, both of the diocese of Aberdeen, who intermarried without knowing that they were in the fourth degree of kindred, and have several sons, as contained in their petition to him, to remain in the marriage so contracted, declaring their offspring legitimate.
