Description
In the presence of Andrew of Glassford and William, perpetual vicar of the church of Largo, commissaries of official of the court of St Andrews, preliminary proceedings over a dispute were made between Lord Martin, prior of May, on the one hand, and the Lord Abbot and convent of Scone on the other, [who were] represented by Master Roger of Ballinbreich, their procurator. After some initial requests by the parties, the commissaries exhibited a certain letter of authority, and brought forward witnesses who were sworn in and examined by the commissaries.
