Description
Pope Clement V writes to the nobleman Duncan, earl of Fife in Scotland, and the noblewoman Marie de Monthermer, niece of the king of England, noting how as contained in the petition of Edward, king of England, to him, they are related in the fourth degree. Clement thus grants them a dispensation to remain in the marriage.
