Description
In [AD 1296, the 9th indiction], on the last day of July [31st], at Kildrummy; there being present [the lords Thomas Bicknor and John Merk, knights, William of Melton, Robert of Cottingham, and Geoffrey of Stokes, clerks,] and the notary; Roger called Paternoster, came to the faith and will of the king of England; and renounced any alliances etc. entered into with the king of the French; and performed fealty to the king of England, etc.
