Description
William, bishop of St Andrews writes to Edward, king of England, on behalf of King John of Scotland, who upon receiving the king’s letter on behalf of John Macon, merchant, had summoned the bishop and other executors of the late King Alexander to his parliament at Scone, and having heard and fully considered the claim, the writer transmits the reply under seal.
