Memorandum that on 25th of October 1292 at Berwick, Robert Burnel, bishop of Bath and Wells, chancellor of the king [of England], and [keeper] of the great seal of the same king, which was in his custody, and was released there to Walter of Langton, keeper of the king’s wardrobe, under the seal of William of Hameltone, to which he affixed a letter on the Wednesday nearest following, [and] which he took to Wells, along with the body of the bishop.
