Description
Malcolm, earl of Lennox, gave, granted and by this his present charter established to Walter Sproull, all his land of Dalmuir (DNB) for his homage and service, which land Roger of Dunnideer, son and heir of Roger of Dunnideer, resigned to him by rod and staff, in feu and heritage, with escheats of court, amercements, bloodwites, heriots and merchets, making forinsec service to the lord king as pertains to a quarter part of a ploughgate of land in the Lennox, saving to him and his heirs suit of court at the three chief pleas of himself and his heirs, namely, after Christmas, Easter, and Michaelmas. Earl Malcolm warrants this donation to Walter Sproull. Witnesses not copied into cartulary.
