Description
Seven shillings [are conveyed] on the 20th of August as an offering of the king at the tomb of St Kentigern in the cathedral church of Glasgow. Seven shillings [are conveyed] on the 21st of August as an offering of the king at the great altar in the church, and at the tomb of St Kentigern. Seven shillings [are conveyed] on the 23rd of August as an offering of the king in his chapel at Glasgow in honour of St Bartholomew. Seven shillings [are conveyed] on the 25th of August as an offering of the king in his chapel of Glasgow on the account of the good hearsay which he had concerning Sir Malcolm of Dumman, the knight’s capture by Sir John of Seagrave. Seven shillings [are conveyed] on the 26th of August as an offering of the king in his chapel of Glasgow. Seven shillings [are conveyed] on the 2nd day of September as an offering of the king in his chapel of Glasgow on the account of the good hearsay which he had concerning the castle of Turnberry. Seven shillings [are conveyed] as an offering of the king at the tomb of St Kentigern in the Cathedral church of Glasgow. Six shillings [are conveyed] to the friars preacher of Glasgow on 6 September at Bothwell, for king’s pittance of three days in the mora of the king there by the hand of brother John of Wrotham.
