- Description
- Brother William subprior of monastery of the Blessed Mary of Jedburgh and the convent write to the king; noting that Brother John Morel their late abbot having resigned, they had by the king’s license unanimously elected Brother William of Yarm the prior of their house, a man in every way fitted, as abbot and pastor, and present him to the king for confirmation of his election.
