Alan of Dumfries, keeper of the seal of the kingdom of Scotland, and Adam of Abroath, rector of the church of Mathlin (Tulliallan?), has received from Duncan son of Brice of Graham, sheriff of Stirling, according to the mandate of Sir Alexander de Balliol, chamberlain of Scotland, twenty-five pounds of sterling, which their lord, the king of England, granted to them for their wages.
