Description
Walter de Curry, keeper of the castles of Dumfries and Kirkcudbright, has received from Sir Alexander de Balliol, chamberlain of Scotland, and Sir Robert Heron, rector of the church of Ford, [who was made] an associate to the same by lord Edward, king of England, overlord of Scotland, fifteen marks of sterling for the arrears of the wages granted to him by the lord king of England for custody of the aforesaid castles.
