Description
Richard Siward, the knight, has received from Sir Alexander de Balliol, chamberlain of Scotland, and Robert Heron, [who was made] an associate to the same through the lord king of England, overlord of Scotland, eighteen pounds, thirteen shillings and four pennies in the name of his wages for custody of the castles of Dumfries, Kirkcudbright, and of Wigtown, for the remainer of his wages all the way until the feast of the Holy Trinity.
