Description
Osbert of Spaldington, the knight, has received from Sir Alexander de Balliol, chamberlain of Scotland, and Master Robert Heron, rector of the church of Ford, [who was made] an associate to the same chamberlain by the lord king of England, overlord of Scotland, thirty-eight pounds and ten shillings of sterling, in the name of his wages granted to him by the lord king of England, for his pause in the kingdom of Scotland for hearing the complaints of all the aggrieved within the kingdom of Scotland for twenty-two weeks.
