Description
Henry of Ryther, [who was] established as the keeper of Elgin and of Forres by lord Edward, king of England and overlord of kingdom of Scotland, has received through Sir William of Dallas, sheriff of Forres, from the ferme of his baillies, forty-five pounds and twelve shillings of legal sterling in the name of his wages for the custody of the castles of Elgin and of Forres.
