Description
Nicholas of Seagrave, keeper of the castle of Dumbarton and of Ayr, has received from Sir Alexander de Balliol, chamberlain of Scotland, and Master Robert Heron, rector of the church of Ford, [who was] associated with the same by the lord king of England, overlord of Scotland, forty pounds of sterling as part of the payment of his wages for the custody of the castles of Dumbarton and Ayr.
