Description
Brian fitz Alan, keeper of the castles of Forfar and Dundee, has received from Sir Alexander de Balliol, chamberlain of Scotland, and Master Robert Heron, rector of the church of Ford, [who was made] an associate to the same by the lord king of England, overlord of Scotland, fifty-three pounds and ten shillings as part of the payment of his wages for the custody of the castles of Forfar and Dundee.
