Alexander Fossarde of Tyninghame, David of ‘Tymerham’, Richard the barker (tanner) of Tyninghame, Gilbert son of Henry of Tyninghame, William of Lasswade, Walter Scot, Robert of Broomhouse, William the Cook, Gilbert the Messenger, Michael the Messenger, Adam ‘de Carriz’, Robert of Broomhouse, Elias of Hoppringle, and Thomas Wauchope, tenants of the bishop of St Andrews of the county of Edinburgh; Simon of Liston, tenant of the bishop of St Andrews of the county of Linlithgow; John de Lascelles, Master Richard the Cook, Eude (Odo) of Kinninmonth, Henry of Tarvit, Mark of Clapham, Andrew Fraser, Lambe son of Austin of Newburn and Malcolm of Kilspindie, tenants of the aforesaid bishop of the county of Fife; John of Muirhall, tenant of the aforesaid bishop of the county of Perth, and William the Cook of ‘Knolle’, tenant of the aforesaid bishop of the county of Lanark; since they have come to the faith and will of their lord, Edward, king of England etc., and promise for themselves and their heirs that they will serve him well and loyally; and each one has performed fealty.
