Description
Nicholas of Seagrave, keeper of the castles of Ayr and Dumbarton, has received from Sir Alexander de Balliol, chamberlain of Scotland, by the hand of Richard the clerk, from the escheats on the southern part of the Firth of Forth, from the money of the kingdom collected in that part of the Firth of Forth, as part of the payment of 120 pounds in which Sir Alexander was bound to him for his wages granted to him by the lord king of England, for the custody of the castles of Ayr and Dumbarton.
