Description
Robert of Paxton, Henry son of Thomas of Prenderguest, of the county of Berwick; Roger of Fotheringay, vicar of the church of Kilmuir, of the county of Ross; William son of William of Fedderate, of the county of Elgin in Moray; and Agnes widow of Henry Lovell, of the county of Roxburgh; since they have come to the faith and the will of the most noble prince, their dear lord, the lord Edward, by the grace of God king of England etc.; they promise for themselves and their heirs ... that they will serve him well and loyally against all men ... and each has performed fealty to their lord the king ... and they have sealed these letters patent with their seals.
