Description
Brian fitz Alan, has received from Sir Alexander de Balliol, chamberlain of Scotland, and Robert Heron, rector of the church of Ford, [who was made] an associate to the same chamberlain by the lord king of England, sixty pounds of sterling as part of the payment of his wages granted to him by the lord king of England for the custody of the castles of Roxburgh and of Jedburgh.
