Description
Ralph Basset, keeper of the castle of Edinburgh, has received from Sir Alexander de Balliol, chamberlain of Scotland, and Master Robert Heron, rector of the church of Ford, [who was made] an associate to the same lord chamberlain by the lord king of England, eighty pounds of sterling for his wages granted to him by the lord king of England, for the custody of the castle of Edinburgh.
