Description
William, bishop of St Andrews, having come to the king’s faith and peace, and sworn fealty, and the king of his special grace having restored to him the temporalities of his see, to be held henceforth of him and his heirs, kings of England, declares that having at his consecration and for some time since, drawn the issues without the king’s leave, he will answer for these when called upon.
